Tom Burlinson in Concert is the culmination of a string of highly successful musical performances and productions from one of Australia’s best loved stars of stage and screen.
Tom first shot to stardom in the ‘80s when he was cast in the title role in the box office hit, The Man from Snowy River, which became one of the most popular Australian films ever made. This led to starring roles in movies such as Phar Lap, Eureka Stockade, Flesh and Blood, The Legend of Kootenai Brown, The Man from Snowy River II, The Cup and many more.
It w as in the ‘90s that Tom revealed that as well as being an immensely talented actor, he also had an amazing voice.
H is first professional singing engagement was as the voice of the young Frank Sinatra in the Golden Globe award winning mini-series Sinatra, which led to his own acclaimed theatrical production Frank – A Life in Song. He then starred in another of his own productions, Now We’re Swingin’, a salute to the Masters of Swing, which has enjoyed rave reviews and capacity houses at over 50 theatres and clubs across Australia.
Tom is a polished performer, whose inimitable combination of storytelling and song has endeared him to audiences in A ustralia and abroad. As the title of his latest show suggests, The Best of Tom Burlinson in Concert is a mix of the best loved songs Tom has performed throughout his musical career.
