Located on decks four, five and six, this majestic three tiered theatre is your go-to destination for all headline performances and special performance events. The theatre is based on the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) and is prominent in the eye catching artistic design of the stage curtain and surrounding decor. It features world class state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment, enhancing every performance on-board Cruisin’ Country, creating memories to last a lifetime.

Deck six is where the party starts and kicks on to the early hours! Consisting of specialty restaurants, bars and entertainment areas, you enter this area through a corridor reminiscent of the hull of a sailing ship. Large Murals with ships and swashbucking sailings cover the walls with an inviting wooden decor.

AURORA THEATRE

A unique feature aboard the Radiance of the Seas is the self-levelling pool tables in the Bombay Billiards Club. With state of the art technology these Billiards tables compensate for the ships movement so you have no excuses when it comes to sinking that winning shot!

BOMBAY BILLIARDS CLUB

Just beyond the Billiards Club, you come across a large room that houses three venues unified by a beautiful colonial theme. On the starboard side is the Jakarta Lounge. With its polished wood furniture, brass work and chess boards, its will transform you back to a pre-WWII Asian colonial club.

JAKARTA LOUNGE

In the centre of this area of the ship is the Colony Club. One of the main live performance venues on-board the ship, this arena for entertainment features a large inlaid wood dance-floor and surrounding seating so you can get up and dance or simply sit back and enjoy a cocktail and your favourite performer.

THE COLONY CLUB

Sit at this square shaped bar or at a table near floor-to-ceiling glass windows and enjoy one of the many signature Royal Caribbean cocktails.

SINGAPORE SLING’S

A pirate’s life for me. Sing along to the old standbys at this piano bar. A Royal Caribbean tradition, this bar invokes a nautical feel. It has live entertainment in the evenings and is a hotspot for performers and passengers alike to assemble for a late night of partying, it is no surprise that this area is a hotspot for entertainment and partying!

SCHOONER BAR

Located on deck six next to the entrance for the Cinema & Aurora Theatre is The Quill & Compass. A traditional English-style pub similar to the pubs on the Royal Promenade on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis & Freedom-Class Ships, this unique bar will feature live entertainment and is the perfect place to meet with friends over a couple of lagers.

THE QUILL & COMPASS

The definition of panoramic view. A Royal Caribbean signature, this circular lounge is traditionally constructed around the ship’s funnel. However, on the Radiance and her sister ships, the Starquest was moved forward, closer to the centre of the ship. This new location affords breathtaking views. As usual, the surrounding ocean vista will awe you. On a ship with so many windows, it takes a lot to take your breath away, but the Starquest is up to the challenge. After hours the lounge is converted into a discotheque, where you can get your feet tapping to your favourites.

STARQUEST LOUNGE

The ship’s Centrum, with its sweeping views and central location, will transform into a new chic and sophisticated venue featuring enriching daytime activities and dazzling nightly entertainment. Sit down relax and enjoy a Mojito or Signature Cocktail from the Lobby Bar, located at the base of the Centrum.

With late nights of partying comes the need of that early morning caffeine fix, Lattetudes offers premium coffee/tea and other beverage options available for a small fee.

CENTRUM, LOBBY BAR & LATTETUDES

Experience a relaxed, prestige vibe at the Champagne Bar, featuring iconic furnishings and classic beverage options – including a wide range of wine and sparkling selections. Sit back, unwind with a glass of bubbly and take the day at your own pace.

Royal Caribbean’s Casino, which accommodates more than 200 people, features blackjack, craps, electronic slots, roulette, video poker and Caribbean stud poker.

Imagine yourself on a deck chair sailing the South Pacific with a Cocktail (or three) in hand (And someone to bring it to you?) With Poolside bars throughout, if you need to quench a holiday thirst, we have got you covered.

POOL & SKY BAR

Dining in style. Rather than constructing two separate banquet halls, Royal Caribbean decided to create a single, two-tiered formal dining room. This lends a community atmosphere to mealtimes; you have a sense of fellowship with the surrounding tables. An open area in the centre of the first level is connected to the second level balcony via an elegant staircase. Floor to ceiling glass windows enhance the feeling of openness, and allow you to watch the ocean drift by while you dine.

As for the meals themselves, if you’d rather eat quickly than linger over dinner then Cascades is probably not the place for you. From the shrimp cocktail to the Baked Alaska, dining is an event on most cruise lines, and the Radiance is no exception. Keep in mind, however, that the Radiance’s galley is serving 1200 guests who arrived within minutes of one another. Though the cuisine is delightful, gourmands on Royal Caribbean may not find their palates overwhelmed with top-of-the-line taste sensations. But if your appetite lies somewhere in between a fast-food junkie and an epicurean master, then the delicious, creative meals served in the Cascade Dining room will not disappoint.

The Radiance of the Seas can accommodate dietary requirements, including, gluten free, food allergies, kosher, low-fat, lactose-free, soy milk, Ensure, and low-sodium meals. Vegetarian meals (including Indian-style vegetarian) are available in both the main dining room and the Windjammer Cafe (lido buffet) at every meal. But it’s best to make special arrangements earlier than later. We do request that you notify your travel agent at least 45 days prior to sailing of your special dietary requests — in particular for kosher meals and lactose-free meals.

CASCADES DINING ROOM

Snack attack! The breakfast and lunch buffets at Windjammer are perfect for cruisers on the go. The wait staff serves a casual diner every evening. The cafe also offers teatime refreshments; perfect for quenching those post-shore excursion munchies. After dancing the night away in the Viking Crown Lounge, pop down to Windjammer for the midnight buffet. Enjoy the view from the cafe, or take your plates out to the tables on the Sun Deck (9), either way you’re sure to appreciate the passing scenery.

Tips for The Windjammer Cafe:

  • Continental breakfast is from 6:30am to 7:30am, the full breakfast buffet is from 7:30am to 10:30am, and lunch is from noon to 2:00pm.
  • Come in for Tea and afternoon snacks from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, and for dinner from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
  • Casual attire is fine, but bare feet and tank tops not are permitted.
  • Keep in mind that this is a popular casual dining alternative, and your main dining room will be a less crowded option for breakfast and lunch. Good advice is to find your table before you get your food.
WINDJAMMER CAFE

The traditional Asian dishes at Izumi will impress you with pure, delicate flavours, freshness of ingredients and impeccable presentation. Choose from sushi rolls, sashimi, hot rock (ishi-yaki) plates and more.

IZUMI

Samba Grill, located aft on Deck 12 of the Radiance of the Seas, is a Brazilian Churrascaria. After helping yourself to the appetizers, soups, and salads at the salad bar, your waiter brings you your selection of up to 13 different kinds of meats which are slow cooked rotisserie style and carved for you table side! The variety of foods from appetizers to the meat selections are enough to please even the most finicky of eaters! The Samba Grill is quite popular, so we strongly suggest that you make your reservations as soon as you can!

SAMBA GRILL BRAZILIAN STEAKHOUSE

The most upscale dining experience on the Radiance of the Seas is without question the Chef’s Table! In an intimate setting designed for 14 guests, you are surrounded by the subtle yet elegant mahogany panels as you watch your entrees being prepared by your chef! This dinner features 5 to 6 courses, each of which is matched with the perfect wine! At the end of this epicurean experience, you receive a cookbook signed by the chef. Chef’s Table is located aft on Deck 6.

As one of the most elite dining experiences on-board the Radiance of the Seas, the Chef’s Table reservations book up very quickly. It’s extremely important to book your reservations for the Chef’s Table as soon as you can.

CHEF’S TABLE

Located on Deck 6, classic five star dining at Chops Grille on Radiance of the Seas awaits you. Perfect for special occasions, your wine list at Chops Grille is the best to be found on your cruise! Tuna Tartarre and crab cakes are among appetizers, and your main entree choices include Filet Mignon, a variety of cuts of steak, lamb chops, prime rib, and fish. Desserts on your menu include the Mississippi Mud Pie and Apple Pudding.

The Chops Grille is one of the most popular restaurants on-board Radiance of the Seas, and, reservations are required. It is advised that you book early as the Chops Grille will sell out. You can make reservation as soon as you board the ship, however, the best way is to make them when you do online check-in well before you get on board the ship.

CHOPS GRILLE

A casual-eats deli cafe offering made-to-order salads, paninis and freshly prepared sandwiches. Don’t miss the signature ‘Kummelweck’ roast beef sandwich – a guest favorite. Open to guests daily through to the early hours for that late night snack!

PARK CAFE & CAFE LATTE-TUDES

Also on Deck 6, from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, Giovanni’s Table on Radiance of the Seas provides you a nice selection of Italian treats in the tradition of Italian trattorias, the classic family restaurant. Caprese, fried calamari, and carpaccio, are among your Il primo selections. Look forward to seafood and veal as well as pasta for main entree choices, and great scenic views. Lobster and the white chocolate brulee at the Giovanni’s Table are highly recommended by guests.

Giovanni’s Table is one of the most popular restaurants onboard Radiance of the Seas, and, reservations are required. It is advised that you book early as the Giovanni’s Table will sell out. You can make reservationa as soon as you board the ship, however, the best way is to make them when you do online check-in well before you get on board the ship.

GIOVANNI’S TABLE

Located within the Windjammer is the Boardwalk Dog House, where you can satisfy your cravings for hot dogs with a variety of toppings including chili, cheese, onions, and condiments! Food is at no charge, but specialty drinks including beer, wine, and sodas are at current menu prices.

BOARDWALK DOGHOUSE

The centre of your cruising universe. Potted plants and a series of staircases divide the Radiance’s atrium into several cozy areas where you can sip a cocktail amongst friends or simply take in the surroundings. Sofas and chairs gather on each of the Atrium’s seven decks, so you can enjoy the view from a variety of perspectives. Glass elevators transport you from the Main Deck (4), to the Pool Deck (11) and continue to the Viking Crown Lounge. With an abundance of windows on every deck, this breathtaking centre provides a wonderful natural light that floods the Centrum and provides a constant reminder that you’re in paradise at sea.

CENTRUM

Sea breezes and salty air. Oodles of deck chairs surround the main pool area. Join in for aqueous fun and games, or just sit and sun yourself. Canopy-covered whirlpools offer an additional level of relaxation in any weather. A small dance floor nearby is a great place to bop to the beat of the poolside band. So bring a book or a beach ball and head up to the Pool Deck on level 11.

MAIN POOL

Bathing in the Sahara. You can lounge by the pool and relax at your own pace. Featuring three 16-foot stone elephants, cascading waterfalls and enclosed a removable glass dome, called the crystal canopy, allows you to take the waters regardless of the weather outside. The African Oasis theme, complete with palm trees, will make you feel that your on safari. If the greenhouse effect of the glass dome doesn’t warm your blood, or maybe a relaxing soak in the whirlpool with friends.

SOLARIUM

A small walk past the photo and art gallery down the winding way you will find on deck five the Centrum Shops. The Radiance’s curvy, marble-lined shopping hall is the only public area where you might forget you’re on the ocean. Pop into the logo store for a Royal Caribbean souvenir t-shirt, or deck yourself out at the formal wear boutique and the jewellery store. Find your signature scent at the perfume shop. Forget anything? Supplement your supplies at the liquor and sundries shop.

CENTRUM SHOPS

Located on deck five, it’s high tech on the high seas! With Royal Caribbean Online, for a small fee you can access the internet, send e-mails or send your family a e-postcard with your picture on it.

ROYAL CARIBBEAN ONLINE

The place to go for general ship information, to report lost or damaged goods, to exchange money or cash travellers cheques. Located on deck four.

GUEST RELATIONS’S DESK

Step right up and order your shore excursions. If you don’t know what you want to do, then have a seat in one of the surrounding chairs and go over those options one more time.

SHORE EXCURSION DESK

Fancy a cruise momento in the form of fine art? in the Art Gallery you will find on display some unique and wonderful original works by various artists for viewing and purchase. You may also want to visit the Photo Gallery to pick up some of the snaps the on-board photographers have taken of you throughout your cruise vacation. All Photos are of high quality and are on sale at a reasonable cost – charged to your stateroom card.

PHOTO & ART GALLERIES

On level one you will find a fully functional Medical Centre, the Radiance can accommodate any health concerns that may arise throughout the Cruise – from the flu, sea sickness or even the more serious, with highly trained Medical staff residing on-board, you are in good hands.

MEDICAL CENTRE

A small trip on the elevator up to deck thirteen and you will find the Concierge & Diamond Clubs. Both area offer personal concierge services, as well as complimentary continental breakfast & evening drinks. The Diamond Club is exclusively available to Diamond, Diamond Plus, & Pinnacle Club Crown & Crown & Anchor Society Members & the Concierge Club available exclusively to guests staying in Grand suite-level staterooms and higher.

CONCIERGE & DIAMOND CLUBS

Our on-board Library located on deck 9 features comfortable reading chairs as well as an impressive selection of books and guidebooks.

Play your favourite card game, join a bridge tournament or spend an evening playing a board game with friends.

CALCUTTA CARD CLUB

Located on deck twelve, this area houses a spa where the key word is pamper! Treat yourself to a facial, massage, reflexology session or aromatherapy. If you want to look extra nice for formal night, then make an appointment to have your hair done or get a manicure. Also available to guests in this relaxation center is a Sauna, Steam room and thermal heated chairs.

VITALITY AT SEA SPA

Four! Well, deck thirteen actually, this is where you can pick up a putter and have a quick game of mini-golf right on the ship. Our small course doesn’t allow for long drives but is a great place to perfect that short game.

MINI GOLF

Open jars for your husband. The Radiance features a fully equipped gym. From free weights to machines, you’ll find something here to keep you in shape for the more active shore excursions. Should your tastes be more aerobic than anaerobic, join in on a class to get those muscles moving.

FITNESS CENTRE

Unfortunately, the track does not extend the full circumference of the ship. However, you can still enjoy a pre-breakfast jog, or an evening stroll; you’ll just have to turn around and retrace your steps. The selected area has both padded and wooden surfaces for walking and running.

JOGGING TRACK

The Compass Deck (10) is the home for all active pursuits. It contains areas dedicated to shuffleboard, ring toss, ping-pong, foosball, basketball court and video game arcade.

SPORTS DECK

Want to reach for new heights? Take on the challenge of the Rock Climbing wall located on deck thirteen. Create a lasting memory of ringing the bell atop the great wall which reaches 150-200 feet above sea level! There are different levels of difficulty to ensure it is fun for all passengers skill levels.

ROCK CLIMBING WALL

One of the highlights of the Radiance Class ships is Adventure Ocean located on deck twelve for our younger passengers. It features a grand waterslide with cascading water and also a separate pool just for kids, offering a Water Park experience on-board this breathtaking ship.

From 6-36 months of age, tiniest guests and their parents are invited to participate in the Fisher-Price Aqua Babies and Aqua Tots Programs. Developed by Fisher-Price exclusively for Royal Caribbean International, these activities are hosted by trained youth staff. A parent or caregiver must accompany children during activity sessions.

Kids from 3-17 may take part in the complimentary Adventure Ocean(r) Youth Program. Adventure Ocean was specially designed to blend educational activities with just plain fun. To participate in the Adventure Ocean programs, children must be three years of age and potty-trained (diaper and pull-up free).

ADVENTURE BEACH

Royal Caribbean has created adventures to keep even the tiniest cruisers entertained. Little ones make new discoveries in a safe environment while parents watch them learn and build their skills

  • Dedicated Nursery – At the colourful Royal Babies and Tots Nursery, the littlest guests are cared for by trained professionals while enjoying specially designed programmes. Daytime and evening drop-off is offered for a minimal hourly fee.
  • Babies and Tots programmes – Join your child in the fun of Royal Babies(r) or Royal Tots(r) interactive playgroup sessions developed by early childhood experts at Fisher-Price(r). Each 45-minute session, held in one of our on board lounges, offers activities that make playtime learning time as well.
JUST FOR BABIES AND TODDLERS (6-36 MONTHS)

On board, kids aren’t just kids. They’re scientists exploring the insect world, eye-patched pirates or the next great athlete to take the gold at the Wacky Olympics. With interactive programmes and activities designed just for their age group, Adventure Ocean gives kids the chance to discover a whole new side of themselves.

  • Aquanauts (Ages 3-5) – These little at-sea adventurers will enjoy the magic of Bubbling Potions, uncover the dinosaur-sized secrets of Jurassic Jr. and take over the ship with the Pirate Party Parade. Parents of three-year-olds can opt for pagers so that Adventure Ocean staff can stay in touch.
  • Explorers (Ages 6-8) – Space Mud, Fossil Fever, Meteorology Madness! Hands-on science gets young minds churning – along with explorations of the fine arts with Adventure Art and Adventure Theatre. Round off the night with dancing through the decades and ice cream for all.
  • Voyagers (Ages 9-11) – How about a scavenger hunt with new friends from across the world? That’s just the beginning for Voyagers, who enjoy programmes including sports tournaments, talent shows, video game showdowns and much more.
JUST FOR KIDS (3-11 YEARS)

The teen programme isn’t just a structured set of classes or rules – these “almost adults” deserve a holiday all their own. So we give them the freedom they deserve, to join pre-planned events throughout the day or simply hang out in teen-only spaces – with Adventure Ocean staff that keep the good times coming.

  • Ages 12 to 14 – Get active with rock climbing competitions, dodgeball and Dance Dance Revolution, then take it down a notch at BBQs and film nights. Plus, the chance to let your star shine with open-mic nights, talent shows and the Scratch DJ Academy.
  • Ages 15 to 17 – Join new friends at theme nights, pool parties and teen dinners. Feeling the competitive spirit? Challenge on the karaoke stage, on the Wii or on the basketball court and see who takes home the glory.
JUST FOR TEENAGERS (12-17 YEARS)

Kids and teens can enjoy activities into the late evening with extended hours in the Adventure Ocean and teen-only spaces. An hourly rate applies after 10 pm.

LATE HOURS

Blips, bleeps, clangs and cheers. Play to win in a classic arcade atmosphere with timeless games like Pacman and table hockey, plus the latest – Guitar Hero, Fast and Furious and more.

ARCADE

Whether you want to chill out or all-out dance, drop into the teen-only spaces where you can hang out until late. Start at the teen lounge, a laid-back hideaway and then amp up the energy at the teen-only nightclub.
